InViGiL is a civic media platform by FG Media and Safety Technologies Pvt Ltd. It combines verified news, investigations, the ViERA AI workspace, short video, live TV, podcasts and publishing in one app and on the web.
Is InViGiL free to use?
Yes. You can create a free account to read news, watch Teasers and Live TV, and take part in communities. Premium membership and professional registration unlock additional tools.
How does the news feed decide what I see?
The feed ranks stories by freshness and by how close they are to your city, state and country, with breaking news boosted. Every pull to refresh gives a fresh mix, so you are not always shown the same stories.
How does ViERA verify images and videos?
ViERA analyses the media, returns a plain-language verdict with a manipulation-risk score (lower is safer), and lists what it found separately from what it could not check.
Can ViERA be wrong?
Yes. No automated check is perfect. ViERA is designed to show its findings and its limitations so you can judge for yourself, and it should be treated as a decision aid, not a final ruling.
Who can publish news on InViGiL?
Approved reporters, after identity verification and acceptance of the Reporters and Investigators Charter. Every news post must state the city or region it is from.
